* **AALNC names the West Virginia Upper Ohio Valley chapter as the 2008 Chapter of the Year **

In the past, LNC attendance at chapter-sponsored educational conferences was affected by "neighboring" chapters scheduling conferences on or about the same time of the year. Early in 2008, The West Virginia Upper Ohio Valley Chapter consulted with both the Pittsburgh and Southern West Virginia chapters and dedicated to coordinate the scheduling of conferences. With Pittsburgh being in closest proximity, this chapter decided to offer educational conferences every other year, alternating with each other. This was a great success as the Pittsburgh chapter was well represented at the conference and then able to meet for dinner the evening before for a great time of networking. Although this chapter may only consist of twelve members, it has maintained strong allegiances to other chapters, its members and the profession of legal nurse consulting. Congratulations West Virginia Upper Ohio Valley Chapter, as the 2008 Chapter of the Year!
